Father throws 1.5 years daughter on floor and smashed with stone says wife
Gayzing , 28 Mar : At Sakyong West Sikkim , a devil father named Nand Kumar Rai who is alleged to have tried slitting baby girl throat with machet in December 2017 when baby was mere 1.3 years. Today, father around 3:30 PM in evening alleged by wife Kabita Rai that he snatched baby now 1.5 years old named Jharna Rai from her lap and smashed on ground as well as smashed with stone.

Today, on tip of information West District Child Protection Officer DCPO West Mrs Chumsang Palden Lachenpa along with Child Welfare Committee member Mrs Chumsang Shenga reached Gayzing hospital and Found baby child in sorry state as she sustained thigh bone fracture , cuts on back of head and ears when father threw her on ground snatching from lap of mother yesterday around 3:30 PM.
According to victim baby's mother her husband is psychiatrist patient who is under medication.
The baby will be today taken to STNM ortho under supervision of Child Welfare / Social Justice Dept. Dept will take care of mother and baby girl tells DCPO Mrs Chumsang Palden Lachenpa to The VOS.
