Sr Journo cum Social Worker Pabitra Bhandari to be bestowed with "Iron Lady Award"
Pakyong, 29 Oct : Sr.Journalist-cum-politician Miss Pabitra Bhandari who will be conferred with the prestigious "Iron Lady Award" by Indo-Nepal Samrasta Organisation scheduled to be held on 31st October 2019 at New Delhi.
The prestigious Iron Lady Award? will be presented in a special function of Indo-Nepal Cultural Cooperation Convention to be held at the Indian Society of International Law Menon Auditorium, Bhagwan Das Road, New Delhi.
Miss Bhandari is being felicitated and honoured for her tremendous spirit of strength in journalism and her courage amidst unfavourable journalistic scenario in the State during the previous regime. She has extended unparalleled contributions towards the field of journalism and has served as an Executive Editor of the renowned daily newspaper Prajashakti published from Gangtok.
This award is a recognition of her strength, courage and I am extremely happy and proud that this award is being bestowed upon the most deserving and brilliant fighter and a human being.
