Students demand arrest of culprit behind Machong murder case of teenager girl
Pakyong , 13 Nov : A tiny Himalayan State of Country Sikkim is once again gripped by heinous crime carried by unknown miscreant.
On 08 Nov (Friday) night teenager school girl body was recovered in a jungle at Riwa Village , Machong under Pakyong Sub Division Police jurisdiction in East Sikkim, barely 32 Km from capital Gangtok.
According to aggrieved family member their daughter had left for collecting firewood nearly 500 meters away from house around 1 PM, their daughter did not return home even in dusk around 5:30 PM, family members shouted around jungle several times but no any response came. After heavy search Father came across a place where he sighted a cane basket half filled with firewood , he rushed there and just some few yard below he saw his daughter lying senseless. Family rushed her to hospital but doctor declared her dead.
As per family their daughter succumbed to severe attack on head , they even told that their daughter had strangulation mark on neck.
On same night body was taken for postmortem and immediately after conduction of postmortem body was handed to family.
The suspicious death behind a teenager girl student has now turned youngsters and citizens dismay since until now the murderer has not been traced.
In the other side the state government has taken matter very strongly condemning the heinous crime , Chief Minister Sh PS Tamang (Golay) has already instructed enforcement authority to do all their level best of best using all machinery to trace and nab culprit.
Sikkim Police in other side with whole expert squad has been investigating the case, as informed by SP East Hari Chhetri. SP told TVOS that not a single stone will be left unturned unto nabbing the culprit.
Today, dismayed College , University students at MG Marg Gangtok took a rally till District Office East demanding justice to victim , the rally demands immediate arrest of culprit and set 5 days ultimatum to authority.
Adding here , Sikkim Police have urged people to refrain from posting visuals of incident, posting identity of victim in social media. Police is also providing routine updates regarding the investigation.
