Hard work Leads to Success - A True Story Of IPS Robin Hibu
Pakyong, 01 Mar : Robin Hibu from Arunachal Pradesh hailing from Apatani tribe has proven that whatever our dreams are can be fulfilled; magic can happen if we just focus with persistent endeavors, his inspiring journey of being a poor farmere?s son to becoming an IPS officer has shown us that with talent, passion dedication and hard work there is nothing an individual can?t achieve. He is an idol for all of us and a perfect example of Bill Gate?s quote ?If you are born poor it?s not your fault, but if you die poor it?s your fault?.
In his college days he battled with racism he was even derogatorily called as ?Bahadur? and was told to sit near the bathroom in spite of him having a reserved ticket, he wondered in awe thinking people were behaving that way because he looked different, he thought to himself that he will fight back with is actions not his words, then he gathered more determination, he took up Masters in sociology from JNU and studied his heart out, surviving on bread and jam and hard boiled eggs where as others were having good food.
He led a struggled life altogether, his father was a farmer and he had to walk a long way to get education, there was no electricity and proper water facilities. His mother was his constant support she always motivated him to word hard to achieve a good life.
He has done a lot for the northeasterners who face ethnocentrism in the national capital just like he did once. We should look at him as a role model, often we crib about getting stuck in our lives of mediocrity even though we have enough.
Robin Hibu?s life was full of hurdles but he had a firmness of purpose, even in his process of being an IPS officer he must have gone through a lot of failures and brawls but that did not let him burn down, he might not have complained instead worked towards it and that reached him to where he is now.
