Namaste American Idol 2020, Arthur Gunn Steals The Hollywood Week Show
Pakyong, 18 Mar : Arthur Gunn (Dibesh Pokharel) greets American Idol 2020 Judges and Audiences with "Namaste" before performance in 18's Hollywood Week, Season 3 Genre Round.
From audience crowd sister Rupa screams back 'Namaste' !! Thereafter Gunn just rocked the show!!
Born in Kathmandu, Nepal and based in Wichita, Kansas, Gunn blew away the judges with a rendition of Otis Redding's 1968 song "Hard to Handle" (also covered in 1990 by Black Crowes).
The 20-year-old singer and songwriter strapped on an acoustic and impressed with his rugged bluesy voice. Lionel Richie, Luke Bryan and Katy Perry demanded more, and they got what they wanted.
"He reminds me of Bob Marley," Richie later told his fellow judges. "The spirit that came off that stage, oh my god."
Gunn already has a rabid following on YouTube, and video of his Idol performance has caught fire.
