CM Greets People Of Sikkim On Baishaki (New Year 2077)
Pakyong , 13 April (IPR) : The Hon?ble Chief Minister, Shri Prem Singh Tamang has extended his warm greetings and best wishes to the people of Sikkim on the auspicious occasion of Baisakhi.
In his message the Hon?ble Chief Minister observed that this day marks the beginning of the New Year in the Vikram Samvat Calendar.
Baisakhi also marks the commencement of the harvesting season, when farmers reap the fruit of their hard work.
Referring to the current scenario due to COVID-19,
the Hon?ble Chief Minister states that the people have greatly helped by abiding by the lockdown regulations for which he has expressed his deep gratitude to the people of Sikkim. By doing so, he says, we would be ensuring the health and wealth of our state.
On the occasion, the Hon?ble Chief Minister prays for peace, harmony and solidarity during these trying times worldwide.
