Covid 19 : State Govt Initiates Returnee Operation and Commercial Resume Subject To Condition
Pakyong, 03 Apr : The District Collector East IAS Raj Yadav apprised the media persons at his office regarding the stranded people of Sikkim which mainly comprise of students studying outside state , people who have been outside for medical treatment. Recall past 3 months they've all been trying to come back home due to Covid 19 Pandemic and Lockdown.
From 04 May onward stranded people can come, others can started online registration. There are medical team deployed at entrance where it will be decided from where people are coming , from Red Zone or green Zone depending upon that they shall be sent to facility quarantine or home quarantine. We have identified 7 hotels where people can also stay as paid quarantine facility.
