Mayalmu Sangh Destitute Home Allegedly Caught In Beating Inmates
Pakyong, 22 May : A Destitute Home for needy and homeless established since many years in capital Gangtok under State Social Justice Dept named Mayalmu Sangh Destitute Home recently shifted from Tadong to formerly STNM Psychiatric Annexure of Old STNM is come under fire for allegedly beating, torturing inmates which mainly comprise of elderly homeless citizens, aged citizens.
Amid Covid 19 such rash , inhuman behaviour by management whose caretaker is Mr Deo Gurung is being grilled by Sadar Police.
Caretaker has been arrested in this connection after SDM IAS Anant Jain inspected, interrogated with inmates.
