Sikkim Covid 19 Update
Gangtok, July 18 (IPR): As per today's Health Bulletin issued by DG cum Secretary Health Dr. Pempa T. Bhutia, 19 new cases of Covid-19 have been reported in the State.
Out of the 19 cases, 12 were reported on RTPCR while 7 were reported on Rapid Antigen testing.
All the 19 persons have been admitted in the Isolation ward of STNM Hospital.
With the new cases, the number of Active Covid-19 cases has reached 183. The number of people cured and discharged is 90, taking the cumulative total to 273.
The DG-cum-Secretary also gave details of the contact tracing of the primary and secondary contacts of the Agriculture Department employee who tested positive. He also informed of the primary contacts of the woman in Rangpo who tested positive today, as well as three persons from Singtam who tested positive, which included a police personnel.
