Pakyong, 11 Jul : Sikkim has witnessed highest spike of 26 in 24 hours , this includes 3 alone from General Reserve Engineer Force GREF Rongli and 03 cases from State Institute of Capacity Building SICB Quarantine Centre Jorethang. According to State Health Dept DG cum Secretary Dr Pempa Tshering Bhutia at 5 PM daily bulletin this evening total case stands 147 of which 67 are active, 81 Cured and Discharged, Migrated In Out 26.
Showcause notice has been slapped against GREF Inspector I/C Rongli for not maintaining SOPs and Guidelines following violation of notification recently issued.
Rongli Sub Division has been slapped prohibitory containment zone by DC East , now there shall be no movement of people, traffic, no commercial activities excluding essential services, medical services along selected areas like Chujachen Zero Point,Regu Fatak,? Mulukey Gati Fatak, Dalapchand Sudunlakha Fatak.? Connecting rural roads will be vigilant 24 hours by Police. PDS, Vegetable Shop, Fruit Shops, Medicine Shop, Petrol Diesel Pump ,Diary Products, Meats , LPG will be uninterrupted. People are allowed to move only if in case of emergency case at these zones. There shouldn't be assembly of more than 5 persons, IPC 144 CrPC is effective from 11 Jul to 19 July 2020
