Covid 19 : Innovative idea to curtail Covid 19 transmission in vehicle
Pakyong, 16 Jul : A driver hailing from Rangpo East Sikkim comes up with innovative idea to do away with contagious Coronavirus transmission following surging cases during the last few days in state of Sikkim. Generally carriers are people who move from one place to another, as such vehicle plays major role however if proper method is applied then surely some extent of transmission can be controlled. Recall that there has been ongoing researches on Coronavirus transmission , everyday new things are discovered above which recently researchers concluded through findings that Covid 19 could be airborne transmission of which WHO also leaned upon the finding.
In the above case of Rangpo, a driver has fitted thin film of transparent polymer fiber between driver and passenger seat in 2nd row. Driver told media this process of isolating passengers from driver will reduce transmission of coronavirus as well as other illness.
Here driver further told media that polymer fiber was purchased for some Rs 6000 to Rs 7000 from Siliguri which he took to Garage and fitted it.
