Covid 19 : Sikkim reached 101 case
Pakyong, 02 Jul : Sikkim in the latest State Health IEC video bulletin released 02 July update mentioned additional 12 covid 19 positive cases that summed up to total 101 so far in state. According to DG cum State Health Secretary? Dr. Pempa Thsering Bhutia on Wednesday 12 cases detected.
Presently active case is 35, Cured and Discharged 53, Migrated In 01 and Migrated Out 12 total 101 case. District wise breakups East Sikkim 41, West Sikkim 21, South Sikkim 38, North Sikkim 01 .
Twelve Army personnel in Sikkim have tested positive for coronavirus, taking the Himalayan state's tally to 101, a top official of the Health department said on Thursday Video Daily Bulletin.
Director General-cum-Secretary, Health, Dr Pema T Bhutia said that these 12 Army men, said to br primary contacts of their 40 year-old colleague who had tested positive on June 23, were tested for COVID-19 and their results have come positive.
These 12 army men as well as their 40 year-old colleague have been shifted to the Army hospital at Bagdogra, Bhutia said. He said 53 patients have been cured of COVID-19 and discharged from hospitals so far.
