Covid 19 : Sikkim To Kick start Antigen Test
Pakyong, 10? Jul : So far no single case of fatalities has been reported, there wasn't any single case of Coronavirus Positive until May 22 however later when stranded citizens were allowed to come back home during lockdown cases started bulging with present status of 121 as on 10 July 2020.
Today, the State Health Department Principal Secretary IAS Shri Kareti Sreenivasulu while speaking during press meet told that until now those who arrived back home state were tested, while Rapid Test Kits has been debunked which has nothing to do with Coronavirus test i.e Covid 19 tests he said which was imported from China.
Now Antigen Kit has arrived around 15,000 for Sikkim as such kits to recognize? viral load on persons, detection of probable hunt by viral illness in case immunity is not strong. This kit has been developed by SD Biosensor, a South Korea based company which has started manufacturing in our country itself, previously we were undergoing Thermal Scanning.
Preparations are going on full swing to get it readied , on 11 July we are hopeful Chief Minister Sh Prem Singh Tamang (Golay) and Health Minister Dr. MK Sharma will inaugurate for public purpose.
We are started intensifying search within grass root levels , until now it was outside people whose tests were done and probably as per state govt stand this would probable be freely provided.
