Covid 19 : West Sikkim Gets Its First Haemodialysis Unit
Pakyong, 02 Jul : According to researchers in medical field there are scores of patients related to Kidney issues in small tiny Himalayan State Sikkim, they frequently require treatment to keep their Kidney functioning however this categorically involves those patients who are financially weak compared to those who can afford.
Today, Marking Gayzing District Hospital's historical moment District Hospital Gyalzing inaugurated its first Dialysis Unit Today, and it is an asset to west district to have Haemodialysis after STNM Hospital and District Hospital Namchi. The occasion was graced by Health Minister Shri M.K. Sharma accompanied by MP Shri Indra Hang Subba, Dy Speaker Shri Sangay Lepcha, Minister Animal Husbandry cum Area MLA Shri L.N. Sharma, Minister Road & Bridge Shri Samdup Lepcha, Hon?ble Minister SNT Sanjit Kharel, Hon?ble Minister Shri PHE Shri Bhim Hang Subba, Chairman SBS Shri D.B, Gurung, Chairman Govt Contractors Shri N.B. Dahal, District Magistrate (west) Shri Karma R. Bonpo, SP(west), ADC (west), DG cum Secretary Health department, MD (NHM) and Officers and HODs attend the programme.
The inaugural programme was followed by a Conference with Health Miniser and Cabinet Ministers regarding the importance of Dialysis where stranded and needy will be benefited of this service.
