Covid 19 Update Sikkim
Pakyong, 15 Jul : According to State Health Dept Daily Evening Bulletin additional 11 cases reported in East District tested out of 354 people, 09 of them are belonging to Rongli contacts of GREF patients , 01 guest of Eco Paradise Resort aged 54 yrs who returned from Rajasthan on 6 Jul, 01 from ATTC Singtam aged 39 yrs of Tathangcheng who returned on 4 Jul from Bihar.
As of now cases in East District is 142, West is 22, South is 44, North is 01.
As of today following is the details of today's IEC Covid 19 Active 122, Cured and Discharged 87, Migrated In and Out 02 of total 209.
According to State Health Secy cum DG Dr. Pempa Tshering Bhutia from 16 July (Thursday) medical team specially assigned for Covid 19 testing , sampling shall leave for Rhenock, Rongli and Pakyong along with all kits to conduct field testings.
Secretary appeal people to make use of helpline no 08046110007 (National) and State helpline no 104 for any clarifications regarding Covid 19. Secretary also urge not to pay heed attention to baseless , fabricated news reports on social media or hearsay.
We didn't expect transmission would go beyond our expectation which started from SSB , I humbly request people not to making panicking situation , we are making all effort to give space to symptomatic in priority , asymptomatic are asked to keep them self at their respective place of isolation e.g GREF, SSB.
