Journalist attacked in Sikkim brutally
Gangtok , 18 June : In a yet another shocking attack on press freedom in Sikkim , today in noon a journalist of National Youth Agenda national media Mr. Mitra Lall Sharma was brutally attacked by goons in Balutar with sharp weapon under Temi? Juridiction in South Sikkim.
In this attack one worker of NHPC too faced the attack. The goons are yet to be identified, wether it was personal rivalary or related to political issue is yet to be ascertained.
The state of Sikkim which is nearing for general election and Lol Sabha election in early 2019 is slowly turning dismaying day by day with series of crimes on rise within a year.
