CM met Vice President, CM offered invitation to Sikkim on March 2020
New Delhi, 30 Jan : CM Sh PS Tamang (Golay) met Vice President Shri M Vankaiah Naidu at his official residence in New Delhi.
CM writes..
I extended an invitation to the Hon?ble Vice President to visit Sikkim during the month of March 2020, which the Vice President gracefully accepted. Most probably he will be visiting Sikkim in March this year.
The Hon?ble Vice-President will be inaugurating the newly constructed Thakurbari Temple in Gangtok and will also be attending the 2nd convocation of SRM University as the Chief Guest, during his visit.
Further, I have also discussed various issues of Sikkim with the Hon?ble Vice President. I expressed my heartfelt gratitude towards the Hon?ble Vice President and also informed him about the award won by Sikkim recently in the field of tourism.
