Covid 19 : Appeal to Sikkim Studying Outside State
Pakyong , 16 Mar: The State Health and Family Welfare Department Govt. Of Sikkim issues an appeal.
In view of Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak educational institutions in various States of India are being closed temporarily.
Many students of Sikkim who are studying outside are returning/ likely to return home. At this juncture though we can't restrict you from coming home but we request you to act responsibly
Hence, the department of Health and Family Welfare would like to request all parents/ students to kindly cooperate by ensuring that they fill up the self declaration form at the checkpost or declare in person.
Further, the parents are requested to monitor the health status of their children for the symptoms of COVID-19 and ensure that they avoid social gatherings. If any symptoms develop over that course of time we request you to inform the nearest facility or call our helpline no. 104 if required.
