Following call for total 21 Days Lockdown, the Sikkim Government under leadership of 6th Chief Minister Sh Prem Singh Tamang (Golay) leaves no single stone unturned to tackle global pandemic which is also not going spare state of Sikkim.
Today's Day 03 of Lockdown , the state of Sikkim is all set to follow the instruction and regulations along with health advisory issued by central govt and state by mean of internet media , radio, televisions and newsprints.
In the other hand while World Health Organisation WHO calls Covid 19 a most deadliest pandemic ever human has known before. WHO signals Red Alert worldwide asking respective countries to deal stringently, in other side Global Business is expectedly going to crumble as bad recession than 2009 in economy meltdown.
In Sikkim , although not a single Covid 19 positive case is noticed however the govt is round the clock vigilant against any untoward if traced. It is now become simple for Covid 19 testing which was previously taking place in selected too hospitals , the Ministry of Health GOI has now setup Covid 16 testing lab at North Bengal Medical College and Hospital , already more than 200 testing kits reportedly is? arrived on Wednesday itself. Closest spot barely 110 Kms at NBMCH Siliguri for Covid 19 will enable state of Sikkim to test swab samples.
However on Friday Ministry further has recalled increasing the intensive testing labs beyond 130 throughout all levels of Health Care Facilities also Ministry encourages Private Hospitals to make necessary arrangement to provide ease to public.
