Covid 19 : On Day 01 , 79 stranded people including students evacuated says State Govt from Siliguri
Pakyong , 05 May : Five Thousand Five Hundred and Seventy 5570 stranded people have so far enrolled through online portal ever since launched by the State Govt, of which nearly 1500 people alone from Jalpaiguri , Kalimpong and Darjeeling districts have enrolled so far.
52 students were evacuated from Siliguri and Kota (Rajasthan), 33 from Siliguri and 19 from Kota.
Others stranded health workers 27 of them totalling 79 were evacuated on Day 01 of evacuation operation by state Covid 19 evacuation task force.
7 people have reached South and West Districts of which 2 are from South and 5 from West, in East 72 of them entered. All of them have been tested successively are put on respective grade of quarantine facilities under the provision formulated by the govt.
