Deployment of Reserve Forces at International Border
Pakyong, 24 Jun : On Tuesday the Deputy Inspector General DIG of Sikkim Police Prawin Gurung, attended by SP East Hari Chettri and Addl SP East Sonam D Bhutia apprised media regarding faceoff between India and China recently at Ladakh. DIG apprised that Indian Reserve Battalion IRBn forces are being deployed at nooks around border, Sino Indian border is integral parts in Sikkim having two other countries Nepal and Bhutan. However as part of regular exercise checksum these forces are being deployed to keep vigil at border villages DIG said.
In the other side Central Reserve Forces like Indian Tibetain Border Police ITBP, Sashastra Seema Bal SSB are also giving strong checksum to their extent in far West Nepal Border and Bhutan sides.
