Expulsion of 124 Sanskrit Teachers Draws Ire
Pakyong, 29 Jun : Office Order Dated 26/06.2020 of State Education Department has called wide criticism from the netizens for expelling 124 (One Hundred and Twenty Four) Sanskrit Teachers across various Govt Schools of Sikkim by providing Honorarium for their term of service.

We are really sad to see the notification issued by Education Department to discontinue the service of Sanskrit teachers posted in various schools of the state.
These teachers served the department in a hope of better future and to promote oldest language of the country but unfortunately it has come to an end.
We request the department to reconsider the decision and come to an amicable solution as it is not too late for corrections.
If this is the way of terminating of our teachers then we will not keep quiet, we will retaliate and we have every right to do so, thus after understanding the issue properly we will come up with the decision from our association side.
